The Lairg & District Community Initiative are always looking for enthusiastic people who would like to join our working group.  We currently have 15 members in the working group, who attend meetings on a monthly basis and take part in organising events and supporting the Project Officer.  If you would like to get directly involved in the Lairg & District Community Initiative, then please email projectofficer@lairginitiative.co.uk or telephone 01549 402843.

We would be delighted to hear from residents and friends of Lairg past and present, on ideas how we can develop our village further.  We would love to hear of new enterprising ideas, event ideas and any other suggestions you may have for the betterment of our community.

Lairg is a beautiful village with a lot of opportunities waiting to be explored.  Like all good projects we need the commitment of people's time, energy and vision in order to drive community development forward.  Dont let everyone else just take care of things - why not get involved and have your say too!

The Lairg & District Community Initiative is a charity and needs to continuously raise funds in order to keep the organisation moving.  The group does a lot of fundraising throughout the year and we appriciate the support we receive locally. 

If you are an expat of the village, a regular visitor or someone with a general interest in any of the projects we are working on then we would love to hear from you.  Donations help to support new ventures, keep our project officer in a job and meet the aims of the organisation.
